Brief background..
Commonwealth Finance Solutions (CFS)
was established with
the support and endorsement of the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC)
to
provide a range of financial services including international
remittances,
micro-savings, micro-loans and other banking services for individuals
and small
businesses in 53 Commonwealth countries.
CBC, established as a Charter of the 53 Heads of States of the
countries of the
Commonwealth, provides leadership in increasing international trade and
investment flows, creating new business opportunities, promoting good
governance and corporate social responsibility, reducing the digital
divide and
integrating developing countries, in the Commonwealth, into the global
market.
Based on global need evidenced by research reports from the United
Nations and
the World Bank, CFS focuses on creating platforms to provide two main
value
propositions.
- Lowering costs of
international migrant remittances
- Lowering costs of
cross border banking transactions for SME businesses
CFS is a licensed member of the Zipp International Payments Network.
